“We should not only be the masters of our craft but to be a student of it as well”

Within the organization the SMJ MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM has been used to train both law enforcement officers and civilians from all walks of life on how to address and defense against real world violence.

SMJ MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM has been used by the Texas Department of Public Safety Narcotics Training Unit in Austin Texas to instruct hundreds of undercover/task force investigators in area of use of force and officer survival.

SMJ MARTIAL ARS SYSTEM has been and continues to be used by the EL Paso County Sheriff’s Region VIII Academy, in training the academy cadet classes for detention officers, and peace officers and in service deputy sheriffs in edged weapon dynamics and officer survival. It also has
been used to train martial artists and civilians from all walks of life.

Simply put, SMJ MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM is a systematic approach in addressing violence as it happens in our western culture. All this requires an understanding of real-world modern-day violence and having the proper mind set which is an essential key element for our overall survival.
